Three year exclusive record manufacturing and distribution agreement.

Glendale, California – Pocket Kid Records is pleased to announce it has finalized an exclusive three-year distribution and record manufacturing agreement with Fontana Distribution, LLC, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group.

In entering into the agreement, which covers the United States and Canada territories, Pocket Kid joins the family of Fontana-distributed labels such as Interscope Records (Blink-182, Feist), Island Def Jam Recordings (Ludicris, Bon-Jovi), Downtown Records (Mos Def, Gnarls Barkley) and Nitro Records (AFI, The Offspring).

“We look forward to working with Fontana to market great music to the public,” remarked Pocket Kid Records head Robert Bryan. “This new deal gives our artists exposure to retail outlets, such as Target, Best Buy and Wal-Mart, as well as to new media outlets, including Amazon and iTunes.”

The first album to be released through the new distribution agreement will be the debut album of Pocket Kid recording artist Dead Sara.

Added Robert Bryan: “With Dead Sara’s first album being released imminently, these are indeed exciting times for our label. Armed with this new distribution agreement with Fontana, we expect to sign other great new artists who will help fulfill our mission to cultivate large audiences for new, original voices in music.”
