Pocket Kid Records Announces Agreement with Epic Records
January 16, 2013
Los Angeles, California – Pocket Kid Records, a wholly owned subsidiary of Interact-TV Incorporated (OTC: ITVI), is pleased to announce that it has signed a recording and licensing agreement with Epic Records regarding Pocket Kid’s signed artist, Dead Sara.
The agreement gives Epic the immediate right to manufacture, distribute, market and sell Dead Sara’s self-titled debut album (released in April 2012) outside the United States and Canada. The agreement also calls for Epic to finance the recording and production of the next album and gives Epic exclusive worldwide rights to manufacture, distribute and sell Dead Sara’s next album, which will be released with both Pocket Kid Records’ and Epic’s logos.
“While we’ve already achieved many important milestones in the development of our young record company, this relationship with Epic is a significant leap forward,” commented Robert Bryan, president of both Interact-TV and Pocket Kid Records. “Dead Sara’s first overseas tour last year created a strong interest from fans outside the U.S. who wanted access to Dead Sara’s songs. Among many other important operational targets reached, the agreement with Epic will now allow us to make songs off of Dead Sara’s first album available to foreign territories, and will ensure worldwide distribution going forward.”
Mr. Bryan continued: “Our Agreement with Epic places the power and financial resources of a major music industry corporation behind our Dead Sara releases. We expect a tremendous increase in fan base, name recognition, and value of the Dead Sara franchise as a result of this agreement.”
Steve Medley, chairman of the board of Interact-TV commented, “We are pleased with Pocket Kid Records’ performance. Everything they have done including this agreement with Epic shows that they have the knowledge, management and resources to successfully compete in today’s music industry and develop and break new talent. We couldn’t ask for anything more from our Pocket Kid team.”

DEAD SARA ANNOUNCE 2013 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR WITH MUSE
SELF-TITLED DEBUT ALBUM NOW AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE
Los Angeles, CA – October 8, 2012 – Dead Sara has been selected to support Grammy Award Winning rock-trio Muse for their North American tour kicking off in early 2013. In promotion of their debut album, Dead Sara has been energetically touring the U.S. throughout 2012 and have been attracting major buzz for the ferocious spectacle of their high-octane live performances on festivals including The Vans Warped Tour, Sunset Strip Music Festival, Riot Fest, and Epicenter Festival in addition to nationwide tours with The Offspring, Neon Trees, The Used, Chevelle, and Bush. The LA Timescaught the bands Sunset Strip Music Festival performance and raved, “the band delivered huge, energetic rock songs that harnessed the grunge power of Nirvana and Foo Fighters with a healthy dose of arena rock expansiveness and a hell of a lot of riffage.”
“Muse was a band that we all agreed would be one of the biggest bands that we could tour with out there. Now that we are going on tour with them it is surreal!” says Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara. “We never thought in a million years it would happen like this. We will learn so much watching them every night – we are extremely excited!! 2013 is looking great!
Recently being touted by Rolling Stone as the HYPERLINK “http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/dead-sara-gears-up-for-breakout-year-20120328″ “L.A. quartet poised to breakout nationally,” the band has launched their next single “We Are What You Say,” on the heels of their debut single “Weatherman” exploding at radio and fast becoming the most requested song at stations across the country. “Dead Sara rocks so hard they remind me of the days when alternative bands, like Soundgarden and Alice, got played on Headbangers Ball. See them, listen to the album, they never disappoint,” says Julie Pilat of 98.7 KYSR. Dead Sara recently made their network television debut with a blistering, energetic performance of the single HYPERLINK “http://youtu.be/DoyDuVPqgkc” “Weatherman” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The band also performed the album cut HYPERLINK “http://youtu.be/KRvU07xEI6Y” “Sorry For It All” as an online exclusive for Jimmy Kimmel Live!View both videos now online.
Rolling Stone recalled the band “blending blues, hard rock and punk into a whirling energy,” with The Village Voicegoing on to illustrate them as a “sort of twisted-blues hard rock that feels like the product of people really enjoying playing the shit out of their instruments,” adding “If there’s any justice, especially in this year when the word ‘rock’ signifies a genre that is in flux enough so as to be anyone’s game, Dead Sara will stake their claim as a new kind of standard-bearer.”
Dead Sara’s 11-track self-titled debut, produced by Noah Shain (Atreyu, As Tall As Lions, Sonny Moore/Skrillex), is driven by the dynamic duo of two talented young women, singer Emily Armstrong and guitarist Siouxsie Medley. The band is rounded out by bassist Chris Null and drummer Sean Friday, creating an electrifying four-piece rock band whose supercharged music is propelled by Medley’s exhilarating, monster guitar riffs and Armstrong’s powerful, wailing vocals. Praised for their blazing impassioned rock and catchy guitar melodies, Dead Sara embody everything you want from a young, hungry, unpredictable and enigmatic rock band.
